Absolutely stunning in every way. The views were breathtaking, the staff were so welcoming and friendly, it was a great experience. The food was wonderful traditional Moroccan cuisine and we woke up to the gentle sounds of farm life around us. The owners were so knowledgeable about the local area and were happy to help with anything we needed, they really helped to make our stay memorable. I would recommend Khanfous Retreat to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway with amazing beaches, views and people.

In a tiny village some 15km from Assilah, the Khanfous Retreat is the perfect place to escape from it all – there’s no internet or even phone signal. Chill out in the charmingly rustic house, make the 40-minute walk through the countryside to the beach, arrange a donkey trek or cookery lesson, or just unplug wonderfully from the world. It’s definitely off the beaten track, but the owner will arrange transport for you.

No bad experience – but you should know that the retreat is in the middle of a rural village, so if you are freaked out by staying near cows, braying donkeys and crowing roosters, it’s not the place for you!

Lovely people running the place, long walk down to the beach, wonderful food and amazing relaxation.

Staying over at Khanfous retreat gave me the chance to lay back and enjoy the best that nature has to offer. I swam in amazingly fresh water, walked on beautiful green hills, and was able to enjoy the company of my friend over Mint tea provided by the hospitable staff at Khanfous retreat.

If you like silent hills, fresh mornings, village eggs, and truly simple and genuine town life, you should definitely check this place out! if you want to spend some time with your partner, this place is ideal as well, as it is quiet and romantic. It is a good chance to get out of the hectic city life and get in the heart of traditional and rural landscape.

When you vacation in Morocco you must stay at this heavenly spot. It is a little piece of paradise in a complete rural area with one of the most breathtaking coasts I have so far seen. Kafkus retreat has been made with local produce and a distinctive charm, located in a Village far from the busy bustle of the mainland Asilah it allows you to unwind and just enjoy the clean country air and the vacant ocean only within 30 minutes walk. The Cabanas are very clean, all thoughtfully made to accommodate a comfortable rustic living.

estuvimos el fin de semana, y el lugar es increible, muy bonito en un entorno rural, la atención perfecta, la comida tradicional muy buena y las vistas desde la habitacion espectaculares.

Nunca habia estado en Marruecos, y la experiencia fue muy buena, recomiendo sin duda que visiten el lugar y no se pierdan la playa, realmente impresionante!
